Roland TrueVIS MG2 Series UV Printer/Cutter

The Roland TrueVIS MG2 Series is a next-generation UV printer/cutter built for shops that want to expand production without sacrificing print quality or application versatility. Combining UV-LED printing, integrated contour cutting, and intelligent media take-up in one streamlined system, the MG2 delivers high-definition output for everything from stickers and window graphics to signage, labels, retail displays, and specialty applications.

New industrial printhead technology increases productivity while advanced 3- to 5-layer single-pass printing makes it possible to combine CMYK, White, and Gloss for transparent graphics, dimensional textures, spot-gloss effects, and other premium finishes. Available Orange and Red inks further expand the color gamut for vibrant, accurate brand reproduction.

The MG2 Series also introduces 1,000 mL UV ink pouches, automated media setup and calibration, a 7-inch touchscreen, Direct Print functionality, and improved automated maintenance. With instant UV curing and Roland’s integrated print-and-cut workflow, the MG2-300 and MG2-640 are designed to help print businesses produce more efficiently while taking on a wider range of high-value applications.

The Roland TrueVIS MG2 Series combines a newly developed 1.33-inch, 300-npi industrial printhead with variable-dot technology to deliver higher productivity without sacrificing image quality. Output can reach up to 1,800 dpi, helping reproduce smooth gradients, crisp text, fine details, and premium graphics across a wide range of applications.

For shops that need more than standard CMYK, selected MG2 configurations add Orange and Red inks for a wider color gamut and stronger brand-color reproduction, while high-density White ink improves opacity on clear and colored media. The result is a flexible UV print platform built for both everyday production and high-value specialty work

Roland DG EUV5 inks have met industry-standard Type II certifications for popular non-PVC wall covering materials*, ideal for commercial and hospitality applications.
